I am Serdar Bayburtlu, a visual artist specializing in photography and a media psychologist. My work delves into consciousness, mind and suspension of disbelief in the field of phenomenological psychology.
Over the years, I've been honored with awards such as the “Outstanding Achievement” award in Photography Masters Cup, "2nd Place" in International Photography Awards and “Honorable Mentions” in Prix de la Photographie Paris. My art has been shown in group exhibitions across Istanbul, Munich, and Rome.
Born in 1985 in Canakkale, I moved to Berlin after graduating from Istanbul Cagaloglu Anatolian High School, where I began my journey into photography and video projects. Upon my return to Istanbul, I pursued studies in 'Media, Photography and Video (B.A),' 'Psychology (M.A),' and 'Photography (M.F.A).'
In addition to my artistic creations, I have developed visual content for national TV advertisements for prominent brands and lectured on art project development, perception, representation and image theories at art and communication faculties.
Currently, I reside in Istanbul and Bodrum.
